In 2017, MERA continued holding MERA meetups introduced in the previous year. Compared to 2016, the company tripled the number of conferences and extended the subject matter from iOS/Android development to Java, Web Development, Mobile Security, and C++. This lead to an increase in the turnout: more than 500 people from 70+ companies visited MERA meetups in 2017. Besides, the composition of the meetup speakers has diversified: apart from MERA engineers, more and more experts from other IT companies in Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow are coming to share their knowledge with the guests.
To recap, MERA meetup was first introduced in October 2016 as a venue where software developers and test engineers of different level can solve difficult cases and share best practices. The format has proven to be popular with the local IT communities and will be further developed in the upcoming 2018.
