MERA, an Eastern Europe's leader in software R&D services for Telecom, Datacom and Media, has made it to the Global Services 100 list for the 5th year in a row. The 2011 Global Services 100 list represents an annual research study conducted by neoIT and Global Services that identifies the top 100 global IT and BPO service providers across the globe, who have the maturity and capability to lead the next wave of services globalization. This year MERA is among 6 Russian companies in the list and is nominated to “Top Speciality Product Engineering Vendors” and “Emerging Leaders - Eastern Europe” categories.
“The global services industry has gone clearly beyond the paradigm of ‘more work at lesser cost’. Companies are routinely seeking business outcomes, and in some cases, new forms of business value. Service providers who can deliver on these fronts make it to the GS100 and its categories.”says Ed Nair, Editor, Global Services.
This year MERA also was included to the 2011 Global Outsourcing 100® list – the annual ranking of the world’s best outsourcing providers and advisors, compiled by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®). It is the 5th year MERA is in the GO 100 list.
Rankings are based on a set of measurable standards as well as evaluation by a panel of industry recognized leaders in outsourcing. The evaluation criteria include excellence in growth, customer experience, management capabilities and depth and breadth of competencies. In 2011 MERA was nominated in two categories: “Companies with the Most Service Personnel in Russia” and “Rising Star to Leader Grads”. Due to substantial growth in customer base and revenue once judged as a Rising Star, MERA was promoted to Leaders category and was judged among leaders in 2011.
“We are proud to have made it to the GS 100 and GO 100 lists for the 5th year. We create value for our customers by leveraging extensive MERA’s domain expertise and unique engineering talent. We attribute our success to our engineers. It is with their skills and devotion MERA always meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations and outperforms competition” says Alexey Myakov, VP, Business Development, MERA.
