Back MERA Confirms its TL 9000 Certificate

July 18, 2007 – MERA, an Eastern Europe’s leader in Telecom software R&D services, has announced that it successfully confirmed its TL 9000 certification. The assessment was organized by BSI MS CIS, the division of BSI Management Systems in Moscow, Russia.

The 4 days long regular audit, embracing nearly all MERA's organizational units and respective business processes, has confirmed that MERA Quality Management System is compliant with the Release 4.0 of the TL 9000 Standard Requirements for provision of an outsourced software development, testing and maintenance services.

According to the assessor MERA team did a great job to meet all the requirements of the new release of the TL 9000 standard adopted by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum in July 2006 and implemented in July 2007. During the assessment process the auditors did not find any issues or noncompliance with the requirements of TL 9000, which is the most influential Telecom Industry quality standard developed by the QuEST Forum as the industry's extension to ISO 9000. This result is a fact that proves MERA’s continued commitment to excellence.

This audit has also confirmed MERA' compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 requirements as a baseline for TL 9000. The further regular assessment of MERA’ quality system for compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000 is scheduled for June 2008.
