The communications industry is one of our key strengths at MERA Company. Our first telecommunications projects involved Nortel solutions for enterprise communications and GSM mobile networks. Later, we developed software for the UMTS and LTE mobile networks of various Tier-1 telecom vendors.

In 2004, MERA won a major telecom platform development project, involving hundreds of software engineers, to develop and sustain signaling protocol implementations for multiple telecom platforms.

Our communications sector customers include leading vendors such as Ascom, Ericsson, Kapsch, Mitel, Ooma, Sitasys, and Tieto. In the area of unified communications MERA has been the Avaya​ Key Supplier since 2011. As telecom experts, MERA is often called upon to provide on-demand consultations and audits for sector-specific designs and solutions.
